What is MultiVision?

MultiVision represents a major breakthrough in digital mapping, with off-site measurements and analysis made not on models or simulations but on the actual oblique aerial photography of a site.

Vertical and oblique orthophotos resolved via photogrammetric methods are integrated into a "Site File" to provide an interactive multi-dimensiona multi-perspective view of any area, building, structure, and feature. MultiVision can leverage existing photography or new images taken especially for a new project. No special mapping equipment is required. Any type of camera from high-end long focal length dedicated mapping cameras to standard digital cameras can be used from any type of small aircraft. You can even use photos taken from the aircraft window!

From any standard desktop or laptop computer, any computer literate operator can quickly learn to operate the MultiVision application. The dynamic MultiVision viewer enables rapid zooming in and out of any photo in the Site File, while the system synchronizes the coordinates of all photos in the file simultaneously. Accurate measurements are made directly on the oblique photos. Any element on the photo, down to the smallest window or opening, can be viewed and reliably measured.
